I have been a loyal customer of Cell C for almost ten years! I was informed by Cell C that I may upgrade my contract. I saw an ad on the Cell C website and the Game Stores advertisement of an upgrade to the new iPhone 5 on the straight-up 200 package that includes 200 free minutes, 200 free sms, 200 MB data PLUS additional 300MB data, thus 500MB data in total. The 1 May came and I only received 200MB data. After MANY calls to customer services and each time a different answer, I was informed by the Game Stores consultant [after I've already upgraded] that I will only receive the additional 300MB on date of entering into my contract, thus two months after date of upgrade! I was never informed of this on date of upgrade! In effect I will only receive 22 months of 300MB additional data because I upgrade on date of upgrade and not of contract! POOR MARKETING and POOR advise from Cell C! My contract states 200 minutes, 200 sms and 500MB data for 24 months!! They are in breach of contract and don't understand the meaning of PLUS 300MB data!
