I have been a CellC prepaid customer for the past 10 yrs and recently decided to apply for a contract. During telephonical application I received good service from Sharon, thank you. I also requested to keep my number. I received my phone on 24 May (via courier) and since then I have been UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED with the service I received from the customer service side. Since Monday 27 May I have spoken to 4 consultants (Warren, Megan, Dustin, Nomasonto) and were first told that I needed to do a simswop in order to keep my current number which I was assured would be completed within 24 hrs. When I phoned on Tuesday again I was told there is a backlog with the simswop process. On wednesday I phoned twice and on the 2nd call was told I needn't do a simswop but a "port me to cellc". I phoned the 0847678287 nr given to me by Dustin, but no one answered my call after holding for 10min! On Thursday morning I phoned the same number again and a call of 26.44min took place of which only -6min were spend talking to a consultant who assured me my number will be 'ported' within the next 24hrs!! Tomorrow my phone will be 7days old, and still I can't use it!! HIGHLY disappointed!!!
