I have taken out a data contract for my Ipad in Dec 2012, 500MB @ R45.00 per month. Firstly my service was disconnectted in Feb 2013, because Cell C was running a debit of my Absa account which was closed a long time ago, however when I signed up for the contract I submitted my FNB banking details. Obviously someone didn't update the system. I never recieved a statement thru' the post nor email. In April I noticed that Cell C was debiting my account for more than R80.00 even though the contract was only R45.00. Called in customer service, a consultant told me that the contract is R65.79, but I signed for R45.00. The consultant I spoke to was very little help at all so I decided to send my query to customer service on the 13 May 2013, today is the 28 May 2013 and still no response. Also Cell C is charging me fextra or calls/messages. My Ipad is only used for data, I cannot send out messages nor make calls, so how do Cell C charge me for calls & messages.
