On the 24th of December 2012 i went to port my number to 8ta but it took too long for them to port my number then i went to cancel the port, i went back to MTN to port my number back but they said they can only do it after 90 days as 8ta still has my number so i went back to the store to find out what is happening and they say they don't know why is the port taking so long to happen, they promised me that it will be done within the next 72 hour (this happened last week 10-01-2013), needless to say that up to this day my number is not working and have to borrow other peoples phone to make calls. This is not on. I will never port my number to them ever again
