Towards the end of April 2013, i saw on the net that MTN now has LTE, excited i went to the service centre on Rivonia road in Morningside to get it activated and was told it would take 2-24hrs to activate. I was shocked to hear that MTN charges for LTE when on your website, it states it as being free [URL Removed], step 4 on how to get LTE)???
It didn't load after 24hrs so i returned to the Eastgate branch to do a sim swap and still after 24hrs, it didn't load. I called again and they said my sim swap had not been done and promised to do it asap. Sim swap when through and i was told everything is good, i should have LTE- that was 2 May 2013. Til today (15 May) never had LTE. i called the call centre and they told me it had not been activated, Chris proceeds to turn it on. i now have LTE.
Problem is, i was charged for LTE for the last 3 days of April& for the full month of May& its only today when i called to find out why i'm not connecting that MTN corrected their mistake. So will i be refunded/compensated for the inconvenience you've caused me for the last 18days of paying for a service that wasn't delivered?
