After several attempts to collect my free cordless phone at different branches, I have realised that the Telkom promotion offering the free phone when you move your line is a blatant lie. The stores I have visited don't know when the stock will be arriving nor do they make any attempt to contact other branches to check for stock. One manager even commented that they have not had stock of the free cordless phones for the last 10 years (Jhb CBD branch on 13/05). Why would you deceive your customers? Rather be honest and admit that it is a gimmick to get customers to transfer their line when moving. Neotel here I come!!!
