8 Days Old BBZ10 Overheated When Charged

Recieved a new phone on 22/04/2013 a new BLackberry Z10 and it was Activated on the 25/04/2013.On the 6th May 2013 i took it to a Cell C Branch in Baysite Tableview Cape Town because the night before it Heated up while i was charging it. When i woke up the Screen had cracked i couldnt use the phone at all..They took it in for repairs then i was sent an sms stating a quote of R3066.33 has been recieved for my devise. And i must either Accept or Reject the Quote. I then Phoned in and spoke to Shawnell at the repairs department, She said she will send an email to the supplier letting them know what had happened. I phoned in this Morning. They're saying they wont repair the phone. I actually dont understand this. I mean the phone did not fall or was i not suppose to charge the phone? I have rejected the quote because i simply cannot pay that amount of money on a phone that i did not even damage. The earphone3s are not even working. If they return that phone to me how am i gonna use it if its not working? What will i be paying for then?? My Reference number is CLC921026...
