I have been with Cell C for almost 4 years now and am due for an upgrade this month. Unfortunately I am unable to upgrade becuase NOT ONE STORE IN CAPE TOWN HAS STOCK.
How can Cell C advertise a promotion but not carry stock of the handset? I also missed out on the previous promotion run on the LG Optimus L9 because there is no stock.. NOW there is a new deal available but STILL NO STOCK. And no one at any of the stores can tell me when they will receive their orders.
What kind of service is this? Pathetic! One staff member at the Bayside Mall actually refused to take my details to let me know when stock is available. He insisted that I come in to the store with my ID. When I told him that I work during the day (seriously, you would think since they are inconveniencing you they would make an effort to accommodate you) He simply told me that they trade till 7pm. Do they not have pen and paper in store so that they can write my number down??
I am seriously reconsidering renewing my contract with CELL C and moving over to Vodacom. Thank goodnes they can port your number these days... Also not impressed as the LG Optimus L9 is available in black & white - Cell C ONLY stocks black.
