VODACOM DISHONEST AND IMMORAL!!!

I upgraded my son's contract to a Top up 200 last week. I was hesitant to renew my contract with Vodacom, because I have had a number of issues with bad service and double standards.

Because of convenience, I decided to upgrade with Vodacom again, as all 4 my other contracts are with them. The person at Westgate who assisted, informed me that if there was an issue with the unit within 7 days, I could just return it. After my son used it for a couple of hours, the phone would just switch off automatically. After restarting and having the same issue several times, I told him to take it back to Vodacom.

Needless to say, they refused to swop it, as it now had to be sent away for "inspection". I got a call today, informing me that the unit will not be replaced, as it had "marks on consistent to a phone that fell"!!! The unit was inspected when vodacom received it, and the form given to my son stated "NO DAMAGE". How??? How I ask you is it now damaged? The unit was brand new and flawless in appearance when my son returned it, and even had the plastic cover still attached.

SHAME ON YOU VODACOM!!! YOU ARE DISHONEST TO AVOID YOUR OWN CUSTOMER POLICIES!!!
