I previously posted a complaint with regards to my dependant being removed from my contract without my knowledge. A week ago Planet Fitness acknowledged fault and supposedly corrected this. They have still not activated her membership after saying they would. I have now lodged a complaint with the DTI and NCC highlighting all of HP's complaints and PF's lack of resolve. I have informed them of what appears to be PF's lack of control of when it comes to contracts and debit orders.
I do not wish to make false allegations however judging by the number of complaints, there is obviously a massive problem that needs to be fixed.
My simple problem could have been easily solved but due to PF's neglect I have been forced to take action. I wouldn't even have gone to this site had PF just fixed what I asked but now all these problems of other members has come to my attention and I see that I am not alone in this.
I have been a loyal member for more than 3 years (despite 36 month contracts being illegal) and I expected better treatment than this.
I ENCOURAGE ALL COMPLAINANTS TO LAY A COMPLAINT WITH THE DTI AND NCC. ONLY THEN WILL THEY LISTEN. IN SOUTH AFRICA, MASS ACTION GETS ATTENTION!
