I have asked for about 2 weeks now for countless times that I want the proof of how they calculated my Cancellation fee it's way too much and I think its ridiculous. I keep asking her that I want proof of how the calculation was done, all she keeps telling me is: We have given you the settlement fee in accordance to the business rules and consumer council... bulldust!!! You have to have a calculation and I need it asap. I did cancel my contract with them and gave 20 business day notice as per the consumer protection act, their contract is illegal anyways, put as a 36 month instead of 24 months. I tried reasoning with her but she fails to give any information and don't want to help. I am not kicking against it to pay a cancellation fee but to must pay R1286.60 is insane and can't be. I want answers today and I will take this matter further if they do take money end of Feb I will see to it to be I will also put a stop order in for them to not be able to load any more debit orders, and if they do instruct the bank otherwise I will take legal action. All I want is the proof on black and white to how they got to this calculation, but they can;t give any answers
