Planet Fitness instated a debit order on my FNB bank account. I am and was never a member of Planet Fitness.
I went to the bank on 5/01/2014 and cancelled the debit order. On 29/01/2014 another debit order went through. The amount and reference number was changed.
I once again had to go to the bank to cancel this one as well! This is wasting my time and my money as I must pay every time I stop the debit order. That means that I have to pay to have something rectified that I did not enter into an agreement with!
An e-mail was sent to the Customer care centre of Planet Fitness on the 6/01/2014 and according to them, it was sent to the tracing department to find out who is dealing with the account to rectify it. I followed up once again today but they still not have an answer for me.
I need to know who authorised the deduction and want this to be further investigated. I also need our banking details to be removed from the database of Planet Fitness. Ravi at Head Office is never available.
I want to go and open a Case as either Planet Fitness or an employee is unlawfully taking money from me.
Planet Fitness needs to deal with this NOW!
