My name is Pierre Theron, my Gym Contract expired more than a year ago on 27/1/13. I havent been using the gym facilities since then. I was not informed when the contract expired to renew or to cancel the contract.
Moneys have been going off my bank account as if i'm still a member. As the contract expired who gives them the right to still deduct money if im not a using the facilities anymore or in that fact not a member?
I went to see them today, they dont have any contract of mine on there system. They can only tell me that it expired on the 27/1/13. If there is no contract who gives them the right to deduct money for more than a year??? If there is no contract who gives them the right to also still deduct money next month?
They gave me a application for cancelation and still want deduct money next month. They say the application to cancel this authorization must be given in at any Slater Gym, 20 working days prior to the debit order date of the FINAL amount payable. Well that should have been last year just after 27/1/13.
Im not happy, its a lot of money for a service I Did not get. Im being forced to go the Newspapers with this.
