On the 7 August 2013, I cancelled my Virgin Active membership. I was the main member, with my wife being the secondary one. Once the membership was cancelled the consultant gave me the amount of R170 that I would pay as my last installment. To date I have had R802.92 deducted from my account. When I contacted their helpdesk again to find out why I am still paying for a membership that I cancelled, the lady in account told me that I am still paying for my wife. Now my question is - if I was the main member, how the, if I cancel mine would they not cancel my wife's membership as well. According to the accounts department I needed to specify that her account needed to be cancelled. Her membership is now cancelled however I need to make another payment of R135.00 as my last installed. Normal business that have joint membership would usually ask the Client if both needs to be cancelled. NO NOT VIRGIN ACTIVE! Seriously poor and pathetic service from Virgin Active.
