I only get my salary debited into my account on the 1st. I have told this to virgin active from the day i signed the contract. Since then i tried changing the date every single month but there has always been some kind of problem. I have had a really rude lady call me for money, to whom i have told before that my salary only gets paid in on the 1st and sometimes (like today) if on a Saturday/public holiday only shows 24 hours later. Being a student and working i do not have the means to check if every single debit order has come off. I am now 2 months in arrears and only knew this now. they have now debited my account on the 31st on December AFTER i changed my debit order date to the 15th AND confirming that with Ishaaf. I have now paid 2 months' bank charges of R115 each and now another R115 will come off this month. And more on that rude lady: being condescending towards your customers doesn't get you anywhere! remember a customer WILL ALWAYS BE A CUSTOMER. getting the money is important but losing a loyal customer is not worth the tone of voice you used. i also call customers for outstanding fees and never in my life got anywhere by being rude!
