Threatened with violence by a membe

Hi,

I have been attending Virgin Active Germiston for the last 12 years (even before it was Virgin Active). Today I had a very ugly spat with another member who threatened to kill me by drowning me in the swimming pool. I have never experience any other issues like this before today. My complaint arises as apparently this member has threatened other members before with physical harm - who have also laid complaints. Notably, management has failed to take prompt action.

I think that it is absolutely shocking that one is threatened and intimidated in a public place where one is a member. I expect management to deal with this promptly and effectively. I do not understand how such events can take place, and employees hide behind company policy. What is most shocking is that this has happened before and has not been attended to.

I am unhappy with the way management has dealt with it and the way staff hide behind company policy. I was told that nothing can be done, because the manager is not in. Yet members can can be intimidate and threatened, but the culprit will not be dealt with.
