I am deeply saddened by Virgin Active. When I signed up I specifically said to the sales consultant (at Humewood Port Elizabeth) that at some point during my 24 month contract I would be taking a job in JHB and moving to Roodepoort permanently, at which point I would like to have access to a club there to continue my work out. The amount I signed for the pay in my contract is R369pm. Before I left PE I went to my club in Humewood and they told me that I could just go to my new club and change my details. So today, I did. and called the number on the back of my card, no problem. I was absolutely HORRIFIED to find out that now Virgin Active is going to charge me R456pm!! This tiny little detail was never disclosed to me as I was under the impression and made it very clear to the consultant that I wanted a contract that allowed me to gym in JHB eventually!! I would never have joined if I knew I couldn't pay. So what now.?? There is 1 club in Roodepoort (which makes no sense!!!)and I have a contract that I pay religiously, THAT I CAN NOT USE!! I feel like I'm being punished for moving. I used to love Virgin Active, now I feel from and wish I never signed, they just DON'T CARE!
