A few years back I took out a Virgin Active membership for myself and my family. After a while I got divorced and I went to my branch and asked them if they could remove my wife from my membership as we are now divorced. The staff where friendly and said it would not be a problem. I then continued paying my account until my term was up and choose not to renew.
THen I got a call from some debt collection agency saying I owe over a R1000 on my Virgin Actrive Account, I called Virgin Active and they said I did not owe them anything. I then informed the collection agency they must sort it out with virgin active.
But I keep getting calls every month and an escalating amount and I keep telling them I do not owe virgin active anything.
It looks like Virgin Active is now trying to now also me for the difference between my family account before my wife divorced me and afterwards.
Can Virgin Active please sort this out in a professional manner. And please can they tell the collection agency to stop calling me. (MBD Legal Collections)
