Reimbursement of payment

Beginning of Jan'13 the Planet Fitness at Cobble Walk shopping centre closed down due to a fire that took place. We found out after a visit to the gym and got told that they'll keep in touch regarding re-opening etc. After about a month with no word from Planet Fitness we decided to call head office to find out what was going on. Then only, for the first time, we got informed that we can use any other Planet Fitness.

Within the following months we made numerous calls and emails regarding the reopening of the Cobble Walk branch. We either got told that it would open in the next month or that Planet Fitness would get back to us, neither happened.

In the middle of Apr'13 we decided to cancel the membership. After some difficulty (after Planet Fitness wanted to impose a penalty) we finally managed to cancel the contract. After the cancellation two payments were deducted for May & Jun'13 respectively. We have been battling for the past 3 months to get reimbursed, making various phone calls and sending numerous emails.

We either got told that the reimbursement was loaded to get paid by the end of the month or that head office is attending to it and that we would get reimbursed soon.
