I am so unhappy with planet fitness, being charged for a membership that should be cancelled.
I had my Planet Fitness membership through Discovery. End of 2012 I ended all my membership at Discovery including the Planet Fitness part. I have sent multiple emails to check that my membership has been cancelled, to which Planet Fitness responded, yes they have received notification from me, . Come Jan 2013 I was billed for a months membership. On the 17 of Jan I contacted Discovery to enquire whether they cancelled my account. Which they have (they gave me reference and batch numbers). Planet Fitness says, that they wasn't informed of the cancellation and my membership has rolled over into another years contract and at normal price. This is completely false! Discovery has given planet fitness notification as well as so have I (I have emails to prove this fact).
In spite of all this, planet fitness renewed the contract without my consent and is withdrawing money from my account. I have sent an email to the branch, since this is the only way to contact someone at planet fitness, which he hasn't even read yet. This is!
I want my contract cancelled, and my money back!
