I joined the Maponya Gym early this year and I was not given a contract cause they didn't have a copy for clients.
I asked the guy who was helping me, if I can cancel membership at a later stage if I want to, he said yes!
I went to the gym a coupler times during the week and it all seemed fine then.
Recently when I go to the gym most of the machines are not working, the gym is packed, stuffy and there is not enough acons. I decided to call them and cancel the membership since I'm no longer going to the gym because of the environment and I was told that I cannot cancel the membership as it is a 3 year membership, I advised that this I was never told. The lady told me to speak to the guy that arranged for my membership and I no longer see him at the mall.
Currently paying for gym fees that I'm not even using. Not sure if Maponya gym wants to force ppl to go to a stuffy gym.
