A friend and I were interrogated for re-opening a pool lane on Saturday 19 January 2013, we arrived at the pool about 30 minutes before closing time at 7pm wanting to train for 20 minutes. This would have been enough time to swim as well as leave before 7pm but the delay in rolling up a pool cover as well as a interrogation by two male staff at the gym led almost not having a proper swim at all. I find this extremely unacceptable as the gym training times are clearly stated on the door and was until 7pm which should cater for gym members and not for staff wanting to complete their duties to leave early. The two male employees had a rather threatening attitude wanting us to leave prior to closing time. The gym should at least have kept one lane open for the individuals wanting to swim little before closing time but instead closed all the lanes discouraged us not to swim at all, we also noticed the all the lanes closed about 40 minutes before 7pm from the gym floor...
This is not the first incident of a similar nature as during the same week other gentleman was asked to leave before closing time occupying the sauna.
Rather make the closing time earlier and let staff then on time...
