My 12 month contract had expired at the end of January 2013, and as per contract it will go on on a month by month period until I decide to cancel. I have sent the manger numerous e-mails via the virgin active website, but to no avail. I have gone into the branch, and have been told to write a letter as to why I would like to cancel. This is completely unacceptable, since my original 12 month contract had already expired, therefore I do not need to justify my request to cancel.
I have phoned the number given to me by the Cape Town branch to cancel my contract, but after waiting for over 5 minutes, I was cut off. It was a complete waste of valueble airtime.
Please advise asap, since the debit orders have been going off for two months now, and I do not make use of the service any more.
