I have had an Edgars account for many years. Like most young woman, went I started working, over 25 years ago, I opened an Edgards account. My account has always been paid and many credit increases offed. I was fire by Absolute Fire Services, said I their clients. So I took it CCMA and won my case. Sine then, Febuary 2012, I have been unemployed. I continued to pay my account until I was advised that the R25.00 I have been paying to Edgars for Customer Protection should allow me to settle the balance. On enquiring at Edgars, I was told I need a letter stating I was dismissed. I explained that the company that fired me, not only do not reply to my requests for my IRP5, but that they will never give me such a letter as this will affect the fact that they have someone else in a position I filled (at a lower salary to pocket more money). All I ever got from Edgars was, we need a letter. I have gotten to the point that I have cancelled the "Customer Protecton" to save R25 per month. But I still need to pay of my balance. Can anyone help? Please
