To whom it may concern,
I applied for a truworths account and atthattime I was still a student, the accounts were opened at UJ. during that time I had been paying the account but was unemployed after university and advised the collections agency that i am not employed. The account was handed over which i was informed about and still i advised them that i did not have a job. I become employed a couple of months back witha reasonable salary where i could afford to pay my debt and called teh attorneys i received communication from to confirm the amount and they advised that it is correct. I paid the full amount given by the attorneys via email as well as the amount confirmed by the retail consultant, as I knew I cant expect it to disappear because i purchased and I am liable.

I called them today just to confirm that the payment was received and they advised thati should call their attorneys on 021 840 1640 to confirm that i have paid the amount and they now advise i need to pay for lawyers fees, but I dont understand why i wasnt informed by the first attorneys who sent me the email when i confirmed amounts.
