Two weeks ago I purchased a Benton queen bed set that was on special. A day later I requested that they change the order to a double instead of queen. According to the new quote, the double cost less than the queen, thus there was money remaining from the original amount I paid. I then decided to add bar stools to the order, which was covered by the remaining amount of money. Yesterday coricraft called to tell me that I still owe a certain amount of money because they made a mistake with my quote. They said the double set was not on special, and it actually costs more than the queen. I then requested them to go back to my original queen bed order because it would not make sense to pay more for a double bed when I can get a queen for less. The sales consultant then mentioned that I would have to pay a handling fee of 10% for changing the order back to a queen. I fail to understand why I should pay this fee, when it was their mistake on the quote. Coricraft cannot decide to change a quote two weeks after it was fully paid!!!
