A week ago, i went to Canal walk and picked up two pairs of jeans at Edgars, seeing as they were on sale, I wanted to purchase two. The original pricing was R299.95 & sale price was R149.95 so basically half price.. The jeans however didn't have a sale tag on it. As I took it to the till point to purchase, I noticed on the slip I was charged full price, & told sales assistant that its on sale.. She blatantly told me that there's no sale tag on it so its full priced and I must pay that price, I told her that there was a board indicating the sale and she told me I'm lying. there was no " okay mam, I will check for u" I instead stormed to the board, pulling it off the shelf and took it to her. Upon which she just says okay & laughs & rolls her eyes at me! Like seriously?? Is that the type of employers Edgars prides themselves with. No apology and not a nice word coming out of her mouth.. certainly disrespectful and rude.. She didn't even credit me, she made another Cashier do it whilst she stood there laughing! & after, expected me to take the board back to the shelf? Utterly disgusted & certainly extremely disappointed!!!
