No Customer Care from Dial. A.Bed

SEVEN weeks ago I lodged a complaint about a three and a half year old mattress, which has a FIFTEEN year warranty, going soft and soggy. When purchasing at Dial. A.Bed Istressed that I wanted a firm mattress and I bought 2 Sleep World Panther ma-tresses for R12, 400.00

After much correspondence an inspector came to look at the mattresses and CONFIRMED that it had gone soft, likening it to an pair of shoes wearing!!!

This results in me waking up with a sore back every morning..

Only now have I received a written response from Michelle van der Merwe, operations executive of GEEN AND RICHARDS, FURNITURE CITY/DIAL.A BED. She states that Sleepworld inspected the beds and found no fault and will not exchange them. This is not true; the mattresses are considerably softer than when they were purchased. Surely a 15 year warranty implies that you will receive the same quality of sleep for that period of time.

Be warned that "customer care" from these companies is a misnomer -- they obviously dont care; Seven weeks to get a negative response!!! Also be warned that the Sleepworld Panther mattress will not give you ongoing firm support.
