BIG thanks to Yuppiechef - my shopping experience from product selection to delivery was slick, personalised, and environmentally friendly.
Their search engine came up with the right product on the first page of suggestions, navigating to ordering and payment (via my Discovery miles) was easy, and as a first time buyer I felt very confident about my purchase and the service I was going to receive.
I received email confirmation and updates regarding my order, and my purchase was delivered to me in a small provincial town in UNDER 24 HOURS!!! It was packaged entirely in recycled board and paper, with a hand-written welcome note and a little free gift included - what a pleasure.
It may seem odd that I am as impressed with the packaging as I am with the purchase but it matters a lot to me that my actions impact as little as possible on the environment. Finding a supplier who also keeps this principle close to their hearts by avoiding swathes of bubblewrap and other superfluous plastic is wonderful. The only plastic I received was the shipping bag, which is probably the delivery company's specification, and which I can re-use. Thank you, Yuppiechef, I will be back!!
