Woolworths
Online shopping NOT so convenient as they claim

I tried online shopping for the first time this week because I have a newborn baby and find it difficult to get around to doing the shopping. On the website you can choose your delivery time and I chose between 10 am and 1 pm. The reasoning being that my domestic worker is around until 1:30 and she can receive and unpack the groceries as dealing with a newborn baby is unpredictable and you might be busy feeding him or need to sooth him if he is crying. Not always possible to deal with deliveries then.

When my domestic left at 1:45 after waiting an extra 15 minutes, the delivery have not yet arrived. No-one phoned to inform me of the late delivery. I had to cancel the order as I could not deal with the delivery on my own. I had to hold on for several minutes with a crying baby in my arms. It was an absolute nightmare. when they eventually answered the phone they said the delivery person would be an hour and a half late! not acceptable at all. He has a three hour window to do deliveries and should allow for running late. At least have the decency to phone and inform the customer of the late delivery.

My first Woolworths online experience was a HUGE disappointment and the last.
