Failure to inform me of impossibility of delivery

On 8 March 2013 I ordered a book on The National Credit Act Explained (Order number: M10082462). I checked delivery status and the book was said to be delivered on the 26th March 2013. On the 27 March 2013, I received notification that the book was out of stock and won't be delivered. I have paid for the book, not received a refund, and now have been delayed in my research on this topic due to Kalahari's failure to inform me from the start that they were out of stock of the book! This is not the first time Kalahari has failed to deliver. It is impossible that a company that bases it's services online, does not have a system in place to tell it's customers that books are out of stock as soon as they try order them. Instead, I have had to wait 3 weeks, only to be told a day after delivery was due that the book is not available.
