I write this out of disappointment following the incident that took place on the 26th March 2013 when came to the Musgrave Mall in the afternoon and I parked my car the Centre's secure parking, on my return I found that my car had been broken into and my belongings had been. Initially I was told by security personnel that the Mall doesn't have cameras in its parking on the level that I was parked on; only to discover that it does. I have opened a case with the Berea Police Station. On the 27th March I went to Centre Management to ask to view the surveillance camera footage I was told that I can only view it if I bring the investigation officer which I did the next day. I was disgusted by the dishonesty of Security Management who showed us the wrong footage on purpose, then they told us the cameras on that level belong to some other company, etc. That incident gave me the impression that Musgrave Centre Management is protecting criminals. From what hear car break ins are becoming popular at Musgrave Centre clearly proving that they don't care about the safety and security of its customers. I feel that my loss is being made a mockery of by unprofessional Centre staff members.
