My brother & sister-in-law gave me a CNA gift card as part of a 50th birthday present last year. Up to now I haven't had an opportunity to use it and was in Sandton City today and know their branch is a good one. So I decided to go and use my gift card. I found the book I wanted and subsequently went to the till to purchase my book, only to find that the gift card didn't work. The staff member returned to say no money was loaded on the card! When I asked how a customer could be given a gift card with nothing loaded on it, I received no response. I therefore left the store embarrassed and empty handed! Shocking service!
