Poor security and unwillingness to help

On the 1st of April, me and my boyfriend went shopping at the abovementioned branch. He had bought a Samsung Galaxy Tablet two days earlier, and was carrying it in his hand when we entered the store, after which he put it in my handbag which was in our shopping cart. While we were in the store, we had the trolley with us the whole time, but afterwards when we got to the car, we realized that the tablet was no longer in my handbag. We then immediately returned to the Pick n Pay. The security manager told us that they would try to do something but wasn't very reassuring. After speaking to the mall security, we then returned to the store but they told us they could not do anything, so we returned home. Later throughout the day we received a call from the security manager from Pick n Pay, telling us that they could see on the cctv cameras that we had entered the store but they could not see anything further and so they could not help us in any way.
I am very disappointed in the security since they did not go to any trouble to even check the cctv cameras inside the store to see where, when and by who it was. This is really unacceptable to me.
