I went to purchase a few food items and was shocked to see the prices of many items had increased by 15% since January 2013. The food price-fixing in South Africa is outrageous, by companies like Pick n Pay and Woolworths. Food has become unaffordable and ex pats have been shocked at the prices South Africans are having to pay for food, which is a basic necessity
