I bought a sleeper couch on Saturday 23 March for delivery on the following day. The assistant asked if I would be at home after 2 on Sunday and I confirmed I would be there, specifically for the couch delivery.
I spent the whole afternoon and evening waiting for the couch delivery and nothing was forthcoming. I called their customer care line and it kept going straight to a voice mail, so noone was available to address my issue. The day ended without the delivery of the couch - this after I had made full payment for the couch AND an amount of R220 for delivery.
I must say I am deeply disappointed because up until now, I have considered Game as one of the more realiable retail outlets in the country and to be inconvenienced like this is unacceptable, especially considering the fact that I paid money for delivery on a specific date in addition to the fact that I put other plans on hold to ensure my availability when the couch was due to be delivered.
I would appreciate some recourse to this issue as soon as possible please. Kindly deliver the couch this evening (Monday 25 March 2013) at 630pm, and I would really appreciate a refund for delivery.
