I opened an account with edgars few years ago and i was paying my debt on time i took a handset with them which was around R700 and after paying the handset off around 2009, i did not close the account and i did not take anything anymore, Then fours later i received i call from lawyers saying that i wll be blacklisted if i don't pay the amount of R6000 that i owe Edgars, i asked what was R6000 for the said i must call Edgars when i call Edgars the call center agent told me that he cannot tell me what i took as my file is now with the lawyers i was never called by Edgars to be informed that i owe them the did not even send me the letter showing how much i owe, so that i can arrange payment with them i only receive a call from lawyers.i think this is unfair as it is not easy for me to open accounts as my name is now with lawyers.
