We bought black leather couches and a tv cabinet from House and Home Roodeport. We bought everything cash. About 6 months after we had them a spring broke in the one couch. We phoned House and Home and it took 3 weeks for them to arrange for the contractors to collect the couch, it then took 1 1/2 months for them to finally return the couch, and it is now the most uncomfortable couch ever - and the amount of phone calls that had to be made from us to follow up was unbelievable - and the excuse was always blamed on the contractors that House and Home use. I then went to House and Home and the service I received from the moment i walked in till I left was absolutely disgusting, people asleep behind the customer counter and a very much "I don't care attitude" from the people I had to deal with. I told them that the couch was terrible, and the response was " well what must we do", and "we will have to fetch it again and see what can be done, for the third time as this is company policy." I will never buy anything from House and Home again and i will do my best to go out my way to stop anyone that wants to buy from them to convince them not to.
