I write this letter in genuine concern over the quality of Guess jeans in the pass two years. I have been wearing your brand for the past 14 years and on average a pair of jeans lasts me 3-4 years. I bought two pairs from Edgars Sandton in September last years and since have found two of issues:
1. The leather belt loop in the back of the jeans tears off
2. The iron press studs on the cash pockets ripped off
I as at a family function this wend and found it funny that every guy wearing Guess jeans had the leather belt loop hanging out. This is also the issue on your Premium Guess range.
I am not a person to complain, however when you pay a premium price for a premium brand, I expect premium quality. There is alot of competitor is this market and if Guess does not pick up the quality, you will be losing market share before you no it.
I have not taken this issue up with Edgar's because I did not retain my receipt and the jeans were altered for length.
