I bought a Russell Hobbs Kettle/Toaster set from Checkers last year July, The kettle started giving me problems so I packed up the Kettle/Toaster as it is a set and took it back to my store with the slip.
At first they did not want to give me a full new set, they wanted to give me only a new kettle from the set? This cannot be correct as this is a set? After I complained about this, they gave me the full new set! But the lady that assisted me then gave me back my old slip saying that the warranty will continue on the old slip and they are not giving me a new slip and don't need the old one??
This to me is impossible when I get a new item I expect to get a new slip with a one year warranty?
I spoke to Checkers store in the next morning to help me, and have not received any feedback as yet.
I even sent an email to Russell Hobbs the day before I went to return the stock to Checkers, and did not get any response to date.
