I had an enquiry regarding the value of the points on my Dis-Chem loyalty card. Chanell Muller who works at the reception/enquiry desk at Dis-Chem in Brooklyn mall, confirmed that the value is only about R5. The latter was quite a disappointment as I expected a much larger amount. I expressed my disappointment, but accepted her feedback since I was aware that the fact that I had 2 loyalty cards might have something to do with the 'misallocation' of my points. I continued with my shopping just to receive a call a few minutes later. It was Chanell. She said it bothered her that my points did not allocate as expected and after investigating the matter further, she 'found' my points and issued a new card accordingly. She confirmed I can just stop by to collect my new card which now had a value of almost R300. Wow!
Thank you, Chanell for your willingness to go the extra mile, thinking out of the box, being pro-active and exceeding my highest expectation. People like you restore my faith in retail service!
