I bought a watch for my husband before christmas, the watch keeps on loosing time. we took it back just after new years but the store didn't want to replace it as they said there was a scratch mark on (the watch was only worn for about a few hours on christmas day)
they took the watch and send it back for repairs. we only received the watch back on sunday 24 March 2013. the watch started to loose minutes on sunday followed by hours as well as days on monday
I phoned them to report the fault AGAIN and they said I have to bring back the watch and they will send it for repairs again. as they will not refund the watch
now I'm paying this watch every month but my husband only worn it for 2 days since christmas!!! this is extremely bad service from Truworths. They want their money every month but cant bring forth service.
i want a refund on my money or a new watch. I think its only fair as this was not my fault. the fault lays with the watch company and truworths, so what they actually is saying is you buy expensive gifts but dont have any gaurantee if its going to work
I also asked the sales person on sunday what the fault on the watch were. she replied " I don't know"
