Glasfit
Damaged Window mechanism during Window Tint

On Wednesday 20 February 2013 I took my vehicle VW Caravelle for window tinting at Glasfit Menlyn, Two different people worked on the windows the one worker on the drivers side worked with care as he fitted the tint, but the worker on the passenger side window was careless and sprayed a soapy water on the inside window and window switch when the car was switched on, the window started going crazy up and down as the switch was making a short due to the water in it. The manager was called and said that this happens from time to time with these cars (why not take care as to not wet any switches). The door panel was removed and found that the window motor has burned out. The Head office was contacted and agreed to fix this within two days. Two days passed and no one contacted me, I phoned Menlyn to find out and was told by Monica that she is busy with month end and could not call me back, I asked for the Head Office Contact at Glasfit Secure Tint which was Jeanette, she informed me that they have ordered the part and is waiting for it. A week later I had to phoned VW that informed me that the motor was only ordered two days after the incident. I am still awaiting it to be FIXED27/2/2013
