I am very disappointed with the service provided by the Edgars with regards to my claim for cell phone insurance. I went to lodge a claim on Monday (18 Feb 2013) and 3 days later (21 Feb 2013) when I call Edgars Sandton City to follow up I am told they can't locate my papers, I tell them that lady gave me the originals because their copier machine was not working and the lady on the phone says she can't do anything without the papers. I eventually requested for Finrite contact details.
I emailed Finrite as when I tried to call them their phone was engaged. I eventually also got through on the phone after waiting for some minutes. The lady I spoke to said they have not received any claim documents so I must resend them via email and I have done that now and shall await their response.
But in all I am disappointed at how my claim has been handled so far. The claim process could be made to be more efficient than what it currently is.
