Yesterday I went to Clicks Burg Street, Cape Town with my script. I was advised that they only have 4 tablets available, but that I could get the other 20 today. I was asked to come after lunch as deliveries of medicine takes place in the morning. I got to Clicks today and they still did not have my tablets. Farhaana (a trainee) gave me an undertaking that they would have my tablets the next day. When she saw or noticed that the tablets were not delivered in the morning, neither she nor the pharmacist, Sulaiman Kahaar, did anything about it. They were not concerned about me, the client, who would come to collect the tablets later in the day. I was prescribed eight tablets a day, so as a results my runny stomach continued because of Click's non-chalant attitude towards their clients. Surely this is not acceptable. Today Suleiman tells me that these tablets are in short supply, why did Farhaana not mention this yesterday? Why did she not tell me to go somewhere else? Why did she not suggest an alternative? The other pharmacist told me that these tablets are the number 1 prescribed tablets for tummy ailments and are not in short supply.
