Arabella furniture complaint - Last year we purchased a dining table, 10 chairs as well as a TV stand. We also purchased a sideboard towards the end of last year. I was not informed that the furniture was such a light wood and in my opinion soft wood. The furniture looks like I have had it for many years. It has worn terribly. All furniture has places where the lighter wood can be seen. There are also chips and dents. In certain places the wood actually looks squashed. I need to add that I do not have children nor do I have animals. I am extremely careful around the furniture and even more so because of the quality situation. Had I known this was the furniture quality I would have preferred to have purchased elsewhere. I have a Wetherlys cupboard which is over ten years old and has been through a private move and it does not look like this.
I received the following response from the customer care manager "Acacia wood is a soft wood and will dent if it is bumped, this is not a product defect". I have requested twice to speak with the Quality Control Manager as this answer is not acceptable to me. I still await a response...
