On Saturday 9/2/2013 i went to shop at the above store. Upon arrival, going through a turnstile, with a few boisterous youngsters, the Sec Guard, pushed back one boisterous young man. Big mistake. Upon entering, at the top of his voice he started yelling at me.."you with the pink shirt and dark glasses, you shut up" That went on with him continueing shouting the same ABUSE, by then all the shoppers stared at me and all the staff members had a good laugh at my expense! Until i found a police escort to assist me with my shopping. She accompanied me till i finished my shopping. I was PETRIFIED! Once the young man saw police presence with me, he left the shop in a hurry. The short white staff member's response about my enquiry at the till..."oh that is my friend and one of our regulars"... I normally shop at Pick and Pay where i get excellent service. I asked him..."what about my rights, i was scared to death, i forgot half my groceries"... He could not answer me as he was laughing soooo much! I wil most def never ever visit that store in my life again! Even if i am stranded!!! When you shop at Ushaka Kwikspar, you need police protection! A tragedy could have happened.
