In the last 2 years I have been to Game in Kenilworth 12 separate times to buy external harddrives which are on special and to date I have never been able to buy one, today was the last straw. The HDD in question was the 500gb 2.5" usb 3 Toshiba HDD and as is usual I went to Game on the 1st day of the special and as usual.. No Stock. I am in the IT business and Game has become a running joke in my business with colleagues and customers, if anyone says they are going to Game to buy a HDD, we always say good luck, because we know they won't get one and 99% of the time it is like that.
I thought things would change with the Wallmart takeover but obviously not, and today was not the 1st time this year I tried to buy a HDD on special, this is the 2nd time.
I have been to Game a 13th time in the last 2 years and that was to buy a Dell PC monitor also on special, guess what, that also had no stock on the 1st day of the special, I only managed to get the Monitor by complaining on HelloPeter.
This is a warning to those who want to buy PC equipment from Game, DON'T, you don't need the frustration. Is this Game's policy, advertise something, don't stock it and sell them something else?
