I entered your Centurion store today during my lunchtime and approached the fresh meat counter. The man who was standing there called a woman to assist me. I requested the meat I wanted and the woman commenced weighing and packing it - all the time she was coughing and sniffing directly at the meat she was weighing and packing for me without turning her head away, and then every now and then wiping her nose on the back of her blue glove.
I was totally shocked - in hindsight I should have refused the meat and left, but like a surprised so shocked at this I just took the meat and paid. I have disposed of the meat - 6 kilos of it - because after telling my husband about it he was both upset and nauseated at your poor hygiene practices. The other meat counter attendants just stood by as if this was perfectly normal practice. You will certainly never see me in your store again, I prefer my meat uncontaminated and to be treated with a little respect as a paying customer. I hope you have cctv cameras and can view this woman's sniffing and spraying of germs into the meat - I assume it must have gone into the other meat behind the counter too as that's where her face was pointing.
