On Sunday the 2nd February 2014, after selecting the items I wanted to purchase at Gateway Checkers Hyper, I chose the shortest que at the cashiers. There were only four trolleys before me. When the customer before me reached the cashier one of his family members who was not in the que came with a whole trolley worth of items and insisted she be allowed to join him. I refused to allow her as this would be unfair to all those of us that were waiting. If it was only a few items it would have been ok but not an entire trolley full. The manager, Macheal Dierdricks, was called and he agreed it was unfair but nevertheless allowed them to proceed. I was truly appalled by this as it indicates that Checkers do not care about their customers and what's right. They seem to pacify the ones who makes the biggest scene, disregarding what's fair, just and right.
